The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience is a vital member of the store leadership team, tasked with ensuring a high-quality experience for both team members and guests (customers) on a daily basis. This role involves leading from the floor to effectively build, manage, and develop team members. Core Responsibilities:

Leadership and People Management

  • Implement the People vision set by the Store Manager, effectively communicating it to team members.

  • Support continuous learning and development for team members through direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, and regular development check-ins.
  • Oversee performance management functions, including providing timely feedback, facilitating team recognition, managing performance documentation, and addressing any performance issues.
  • Address employee concerns, collaborating with internal support when necessary to take appropriate action.

Guest Experience and Community

  • Lead an unparalleled guest experience on the retail floor through assessing guest engagement and product knowledge, and guiding team members in closing any gaps through constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Provide on-the-spot retail floor leadership, making real-time decisions to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resolve guest feedback and handle emergent issues, including escalated concerns and urgent requests, ensuring a satisfactory resolution for guests.
