Job description:

The Delivery Service Driver plays a vital role in the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our CDL-certified drivers build strong relationships with our food service customers, ensuring a superior customer experience at every stop. As a Delivery Service Driver, you will operate an automatic, 12,000-20,000 lb. GVW straight truck on an assigned local route to deliver our products and serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to internal processes and procedures, as well as comply with all local and federally regulated requirements, including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
  • Maintain a safe and clean Commercial Driver’s License.
  • Perform deliveries and pickups by loading and unloading trucks, pulling hoses, connecting to fill stations, and checking tanks at customer locations.
  • Verify log information and input all data into iPhone applications, including hours of service and customer invoicing.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure performance meets standards and expectations.
  • Efficiently and professionally address customers’ needs and provide training on the system as necessary.
  • Prevent oil outs and accurately track and report on each customer stop.

Education, Requirements & Competencies:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license with Tanker Endorsement.
  • A minimum of 6 months of driving experience, or recent CDL graduate from an accredited school.
  • Must meet Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds by hand.
  • Unrestricted mobility to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach.
  • Capability to climb a ladder up to 20 feet in height.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual abilities.
  • Familiarity and experience with hand tools.
  • Two or more years of CDL-regulated driving experience are highly preferred.

Schedule: 4/10s, Friday – Monday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM. Some overnight shifts may be required based on business needs.

Salary: $26.00 per hour, with an additional $5.00 per hour for Weekend Warrior pay applicable for the entire week.

Location: The RT Depot is based in the 44109 zip code.
