SUMMARY OF POSITION
As a Prep Cook, you will have the chance to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that your team has all the necessary ingredients and products to deliver exceptional meals to our guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare cooking items efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize, maintain, and clean all kitchen equipment, along with preparation and storage areas.
- Stock and rotate products to ensure compliance with shelf life standards.
- Accurately portion food products and prepare them according to standardized recipes.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) practices when handling food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, prep areas, coolers, and storage sections.
- Prepare items in accordance with recipes and established procedures.
- Assist the dishwasher by washing and restocking dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a prep cook is preferred but not required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.
