We are seeking an individual responsible for ensuring a clean and organized store environment, with a particular emphasis on floor care. Key responsibilities include operating the scrubber and buffer, as well as performing dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows. The successful candidate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and will be cross-trained in various areas of the store to meet business needs.

  • Exemplify established customer experience practices with both internal and external customers.
  • Promote and embody a positive store culture characterized by honesty, integrity, and respect.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards for all floor care operations, including the effective use of scrubber and buffer equipment.
  • Uphold organizational and cleanliness standards for all store areas, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
  • Comply with all company policies regarding health and safety, including the refilling of essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
  • Be cross-trained in other areas of the store such as the backroom, front end, and sales floor.
  • Support the front-end coverage needs as they arise.
  • Adhere to merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Initiate and participate in store recovery efforts throughout the day.
  • Comply with all operational and loss prevention controls as per company guidelines and policies, including shrink reduction measures.
  • Communicate effectively and accurately with management and fellow associates.
  • Abide by all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including those related to meal and break periods for associates.
  • Engage in safety awareness initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
