Full-Time, Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will lead various projects including resets and remodels, and collaborate with the Store Manager to recruit and develop talent that embodies Serv-U-Success’s standards. You will provide team members with the tools and training necessary to contribute to a high-performance environment. New hires will participate in an Assistant Store Manager Nights Training program at another store location, working closely with a mentor to prepare for success in this role. This position may include eligibility for mileage reimbursement during the training period.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to stores within a defined territory to execute job duties.
- Serve as the “Manager on Duty” in the absence of, or in partnership with, the Store Manager, ensuring proper staffing and work prioritization.
- Engage outside On-Demand and Temporary personnel as needed to support ongoing projects or prepare for future demands.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to schedule weekly work and efficiently utilize available resources.
- Physically monitor project outcomes to ensure completion meets customer satisfaction; all projects should be finalized within the same shift.
- Interpret Plan-O-Grams, schematics, and relevant documentation necessary for project completion.
- Exhibit a high level of merchandising and reset skills across all categories within the store environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance; remote work is not permitted.
- Be prepared to travel to various locations without delay.
- Comprehend and adhere to all Serv-U policies and standard operating procedures as detailed in the electronic Employee Handbook and Visual Work Instructions.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED; further education is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in the service industry, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Results-oriented, organized, and methodical; enjoys learning and adapting to change.
- Proficient in technology, predominantly personal devices (a weekly phone stipend is provided).
- Open availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a department of motor vehicles check may be required, depending on the specific position.
