Job Summary
The Branch Banking Operations Territory Leader serves as a subject matter expert in branch policies and procedures. This individual is responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and education while fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes inclusion. The Territory Leader will develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational performance within the territory, including process improvement initiatives and cost reduction strategies. Key responsibilities include overseeing operational activities across the territory and driving, supporting, and achieving operational targets.
Job Responsibilities:

Coaching, Training, and Mentoring: Oversee the training and development of Market Operations Leaders. Actively engage in meetings and conference calls with territory, market, and branch leadership to ensure that the team is well-informed about procedural changes and ongoing education related to current processes. Ensure timely completion of mandatory compliance training and address inquiries from various levels of leadership. Provide coaching to both new and existing team members regarding operational functions, conduct branch visits, and develop action plans to resolve any audit issues identified. Ensure that Market Operations Leadership is adequately prepared to lead operations discussions during Branch Leader and Assistant Leaders meetings. Conduct weekly coaching sessions focusing on account quality improvements, utilizing the results from weekly error correction reports. Facilitate operational calls and onsite visits for collaborative coaching and development efforts to enhance audit quality and ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.

Territory Operational Performance Management and Strategy: Prepare for internal and external audits by conducting and summarizing Branch Audits and Procedural Reviews. Lead the team in supporting financial and operational targets, emphasizing behaviors that encourage efficiency and excellence. Oversee all operational activities within the territory, ensuring that monthly, quarterly, and annual goals are met. Maintain awareness of key business priorities and communicate updates to all team members. Demonstrate expertise in crafting and executing operational strategies that drive business growth and profitability. Analyze operational data to recommend procedural improvements and efficiencies, perform annual reviews of audit procedures, and monitor compliance for Customer Identification Policy (CIP) and Know Your Customer (KYC) standards. Ensure prompt follow-up on reported issues and distribute necessary reports while addressing any operational inquiries.

Provide support during emergency situations, including robberies, and oversee records retention activities at each banking center, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Analyze and address problems related to operational issues and provide leadership in talent management functions, including hiring, performance evaluations, staff development, and compliance adherence.
Additional Accountabilities:
