We are an Ohio-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) specializing in comprehensive IT solutions for enterprises of all sizes. Our offerings encompass desktop, server, network, and telecommunications services, establishing us as a trusted partner committed to helping businesses achieve their goals while optimizing IT investments and minimizing costs.

We are currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Consultant to join our dynamic team.

The Role:

As an IT Infrastructure Consultant, you will be responsible for managing escalated issues from our helpdesk team and providing advanced technical support to our esteemed clients. We are looking for a seasoned IT professional who possesses a comprehensive understanding of technology and demonstrates a genuine commitment to service excellence. This individual must be proactive in delivering exceptional support, whether that involves addressing technical challenges or assisting colleagues and clients.

We highly value career-oriented individuals who are passionate about refining their skills and advancing within the industry. There is significant potential for growth into Subject Matter Expert (SME) roles in specialized skills or disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage escalation tickets from the helpdesk.
  • Address Tier 2 tickets, including but not limited to:
    • Network Issues and Outages
    • Backup and Disaster Recovery Review, Maintenance, and Deployment
    • Security Solutions Review, Maintenance, and Deployment (MFA, A/V, SAT, SIEM)
    • Business Application Support and Securing Third Party Support (POS, PMS)
    • Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS edits
    • Hotel Applications (Key/lock, Guest Internet/Cable, etc.)
    • Financial and Accounting Applications
    • Advanced Firewall Troubleshooting, including policies, traffic monitoring, and configuration
    • Microsoft 365 and Entra (Azure) Administration, troubleshooting mail flow, mail rules, connectors, etc.
  • Facilitate Client Onboarding.
  • Engage in client communications, both remotely and in-person.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of issues and resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT support.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Firewall configuration/troubleshooting, and Switch configuration/troubleshooting (including VLANs).
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN) and equipment, including VLANs and switch configuration.
  • Demonstrated experience in advanced firewall troubleshooting.

HR Information:

  • Salary range: $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience.
  • This is a full-time, in-office position (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday).
  • Limited local travel required (15%-25%), with a monthly fuel stipend.
  • Occasional out-of-state travel (a few times a year).
