We currently have shifts available during the overnight hours from 10 PM to 6 AM. Homestead offers career progression, beginning as a caregiver with the potential to advance to a Med Tech position through our training programs.

As a caregiver at Homestead, your responsibilities will include:
– Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
– Maintaining cleanliness within the environment, which may involve light housekeeping
– Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
– Assessing changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any concerns to your supervisor
– Administering medications and injections based on medical charts
– Following established schedules and assisting residents with repositioning
– Adhering to procedures for documentation of medications
– Exercising good judgment in providing care and ensuring safety
– Supporting fellow team members in their duties
– Completing all required documentation and charting accurately
– Responding to call lights and assessing resident needs promptly
– Assisting with meal trays and providing support during mealtime
– Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:
– Ability to pass a criminal background check
– High school diploma or GED
– Reliable transportation
– Availability to work every other weekend
