As a Help Desk Technician, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting, advising, and crafting solutions for our clients’ technology infrastructures. You will serve as a technical advocate for both front-line and executive-level employees, relying on your expertise to address and resolve hardware and network issues with the help desk proficiency that our clients trust and depend upon.

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Note: This is not a remote position.
Classification: Full Time
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM, with the possibility of occasional overtime
Salary: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour, plus benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to incoming support calls and emails
  • Triage support requests and assign them to the appropriate technician level
  • Manage the deployment calendar for Field Technicians and Field Engineers
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met
  • Collaborate with the support team to manage ticket queues
  • Open, work on, and close Help Desk tickets
  • Provide mobile device, desktop, and laptop support to clients
  • Install and configure desktop operating systems (Windows and Mac) efficiently
  • Migrate user data as required
  • Offer Office 365 support and guidance to clients
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and printing issues
  • Facilitate new device configuration on client networks
  • Conduct and articulate customer network audits
  • Create and maintain documentation for client infrastructures

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in Help Desk or Technical Support
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification (or a commitment to obtain within six months of hire)
  • MTA in Operating, Networking, and Security Fundamentals (or equivalent)
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in Windows and MacOS operating systems
