Job description:
As a Patient Service Specialist at our outpatient physical therapy center in Toledo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. This full-time position entails managing both patient interactions and the operational aspects of our center. Your contribution will significantly influence each patient’s care experience, starting at the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:
– Welcome patients upon arrival and guide them through the registration process while providing clear information about their visit and upcoming appointments at checkout.
– Schedule patient appointments both in-person and via phone, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
– Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including attorney offices, insurance providers, translation services, as well as market operational leaders and the business development team.
– Collect co-pays, handle payer approvals, and carry out insurance authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
– High School Diploma or GED.
– Experience in healthcare billing.
– Background in the healthcare field.

Preferred Qualifications:
– A minimum of 3 years of experience in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
