As a Housekeeper with Healthcare Services Group (HCSG), you will be integral to maintaining a clean and safe environment in our long-term care facility. Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily housekeeping duties, which include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and administrative offices.
  • Ensure all cleaning and sanitation tasks conform to established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and universal precautions to uphold a sanitary environment.
  • Foster positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests, while providing exemplary customer service.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and effectively communicate with residents, administration, and HCSG leadership in the execution of daily tasks.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is necessary.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull similar weight; must be capable of standing, sitting, bending, and walking for prolonged periods.
  • Capacity to carry out routine and repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Ability to work in proximity to cleaning products.
  • Must be able to follow both oral and written instructions and engage in routine tasks daily.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
