Job Title: Caregiver for Senior Living

Company: Homestead

Location: Canton, MI

Pay: $16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16 for a “Caregiver for Senior Living” position in Canton, MI, is generally considered on the lower end of the wage spectrum for this role. As of 2023, caregiver wages can typically range from $12 to $20 or more per hour, depending on factors such as experience, certification, and the specifics of the care required. In Michigan, state averages for similar positions often fall within the $15 to $18 range, suggesting that while $16 is competitive, it may not attract highly experienced candidates or those seeking better compensation. Therefore, while it may be acceptable for entry-level positions or in areas with a lower cost of living, it may not be sufficient to retain skilled caregivers in a competitive market.
