Overview:

Le Meridien Columbus, the Joseph, is seeking a licensed massage therapist who is enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about their vocation. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional customer care and maintaining high standards of service with every interaction. Compensation for this position is based on an hourly rate supplemented by gratuities, commissions, and tips. Additional earning opportunities are also available. Responsibilities:

– Perform a variety of massage and bodywork therapies.
– Collaborate effectively as a member of the team.
– Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Successfully promote and sell an array of spa services.
– Warmly welcome clients and ensure a positive experience.
– Accurately utilize the Client Intake Form to assess client needs.
– Demonstrate a willingness to learn new massage modalities and body wrap treatments.
– Uphold the healing principles of massage therapy and bodywork.
– Adhere to sanitation protocols for all tools and equipment after each client.
– Ensure proper setup and breakdown of therapy rooms.

Qualifications:

– Comply with state, local, and county licensing regulations and maintain liability insurance.
– Proficiency in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone modalities.
– Familiarity with additional modalities such as neuromuscular, myofascial, trigger point, prenatal, craniosacral, and Reiki is preferred.
– Adhere to the service standards set forth by the Salon and Day Spa.
– Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
– Passionate about the massage and bodywork industry and committed to ongoing education.
– Knowledge about products and ability to make recommendations.
– Willingness to work long hours as needed.
– Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.
