Warehouse Operations Contribution to Cardinal Health:
The Warehouse Operations team is vital in ensuring the uninterrupted flow of life-saving medications through the pharmaceutical supply chain. We are responsible for executing a range of essential tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of sensitive products. Our dedicated efforts directly support hospitals and pharmacies in delivering crucial pharmaceutical products to the patients who need them the most.

Responsibilities in this Role:

  • Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to accurately process orders, which includes picking, conducting quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing items for shipment.
  • Work in cold environments for portions of the shift.
  • Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in assigned projects from management.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by performing housekeeping and inventory control tasks and complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet on a regular basis
  • Capability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with technology, such as computers or point-of-sale systems, is a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
