Enhance the ALDI customer shopping experience within a collaborative team environment as an ALDI Cashier or Stocker. As a vital member of our team, you will operate registers and other machinery, stock our shelves, maintain the store’s appearance, and provide exceptional service to our customers. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 – $18.50 | Year 3 – $19.00 | Year 4 – $19.00 | Year 5 – $20.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate pertinent information to your direct leader.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions, execute general cleaning tasks, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs.
• Provide feedback to management concerning product performance, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and other operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts in accordance with guidelines and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash management policies and procedures to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products properly to ensure customers have access to fresh merchandise.
• Follow merchandising planograms to create well-displayed product arrangements.
• Organize incoming inventory and remove or break down empty boxes.
• Operate machinery while complying with all safety protocols.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
• Stockers must be able to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelves and lift products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.

Education and Experience:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge is acceptable.
