Position:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Member Services Representative to join our team on a part-time weekend schedule. This position requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 AM to 6 PM. As a vital member of our staff, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. You will ensure that every individual receives a remarkable “Judgement Free” experience. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Front Desk Duties:
– Welcome members and guests with outstanding customer service, fostering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
– Answer incoming calls in a friendly manner, addressing a diverse range of inquiries.
– Check members in, conduct tours, facilitate new member sign-ups, log amenities, and communicate updates and events effectively.
– Respond to member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
– Process beverage or merchandise transactions using the point of sale (POS) system.
– Assist with membership card issuance, address changes, and billing or payment inquiries via the POS system.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
– Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
– Conduct regular facility cleaning and upkeep, including mopping spills, trash removal, window and mirror cleaning, and re-racking weights.
– Ensure that all exercise equipment and tanning beds are routinely cleaned.
– Manage the cleanliness and supply of restrooms and wet areas effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements:
– Candidates for this position must consent to a 7-year criminal background check within the first week of hire; continued employment will depend on a satisfactory outcome.
– Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding member expectations.
– Prior customer service experience is preferred.
– Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
