Job description:

The Marketing and Media Assistant operates in alignment with the established policies and procedures of the community, receiving specific guidance from the Marketing and Sales Director. This role is pivotal in supporting all facets of the marketing and sales initiatives and coordinating the closing and move-in processes. Key responsibilities include managing receptionist duties, overseeing administrative functions, coordinating events, compiling reports, serving in a hospitality capacity, managing office inventory, and providing various administrative support tasks.

This position is also tasked with planning, developing, and directing marketing strategies within the community. The Director of Marketing will spearhead the formulation of strategic marketing plans aimed at both community fill-up and maintaining full occupancy. Continuous collaborative support to the Sales teams will also be a significant aspect of this role.

Organizational Relationship:
This position reports directly to the Sales Director.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls while managing the lead distribution system.
  • Greet and provide exemplary service to visitors at the marketing office following the Life Care Services Extraordinary Impressions program.
  • Plan and execute all marketing events within the approved budgetary constraints.
  • Prepare and maintain marketing and sales reports.
  • Offer strategic leadership for all marketing efforts at the community level.
  • Collaborate with the community team, owner, and advertising agency (if applicable) to develop community market strategies for lead generation and nurturing. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Direct Mail campaigns
    • Event planning
    • Print advertising
    • Other identified advertising channels
  • Provide strategic guidance on the development of collateral and online presence for the community in partnership with the Sales Director, Regional Sales Director, and Corporate Marketing Strategist.
  • Analyze data from third-party vendors to ensure optimal relationships and channel performance, including but not limited to:
    • Reputation.com
    • One Day app
    • Marchex
  • Lead social media strategies to promote the community and maximize engagement across social channels.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Public Relations strategy to engage with local publications and other outlets.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to plan and execute functions related to Resident Referral/Lead Generation/Resident Ambassador programs.
  • Conduct market opportunity reviews, including competitive analyses and market assessments, in collaboration with the Corporate Marketing Strategist and Market Research teams.
  • Maintain awareness of the community’s profitability and its overarching impact on Life Care Services.
  • Participate in community leadership and owner meetings, including delivering presentations on the marketing vision and strategy.
  • Conduct audits of the CRM to ensure accurate lead attribution.
  • Ensure consistent and correct usage of community systems by auditing processes and community staff practices.
  • Focus on identifying areas for improvements in marketing performance standards and overall community efficiency.
  • Maintain timely communication and meetings with the Sales and Marketing Directors, Executive Director, and other corporate support staff as necessary.
  • Oversee the maintenance of marketing systems, including Sales Force, C3 Leads, and C3 LinC, and produce data results and system-generated reports.
  • Manage office operations by tracking inventory and ordering necessary supplies, collateral, and printed materials in compliance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Update and maintain the office schedule, including marketing events.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual marketing plan by compiling necessary data and components.
  • Coordinate and produce the marketing newsletter.
  • Provide front desk coverage as needed.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Proficient with computer-based record-keeping and word processing systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing and media platforms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of field and corporate staff, clients, and vendors.
  • Proficient public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing techniques with demonstrated expertise in sales and marketing.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the marketing field.

Compensation:
Up to $22/hour.
