POSITION SUMMARY:
The individual in this role is responsible for efficiently managing the overall operations of a Qdoba restaurant. Utilizing sound judgment in daily management decisions, this position is accountable for embodying the brand values and fostering the brand’s growth. The focus will be on cultivating a culture that prioritizes both team development and exceptional guest experiences, consistently delivering high-quality service and food while ensuring adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Ensure fast and accurate service while providing superior customer service and exemplifying restaurant hospitality; address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to guarantee satisfactory resolutions.
– Train, develop, coach, and evaluate employee performance, ensuring comprehensive training systems are effectively executed and adhered to.
– Strategically maximize store sales in relation to budgetary goals, including active participation in marketing initiatives.
– Collaborate on strategies to enhance catering sales.
– Reinforce and train employees on food safety protocols.
– Work closely with the leadership team to achieve sales targets.
– Manage food and labor costs effectively.
– Implement company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant state and federal labor laws and regulations.
– Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed.
– Maintain a safe working environment.
– Manage personnel in a way that promotes employee growth within the company and minimizes turnover.
– Develop long-term sales growth initiatives aimed at driving profitable sales increases.
– Oversee the entire new hire lifecycle, including interview, selection, and training processes.
– Anticipate and identify challenges and implement appropriate corrective actions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To comply with state and federal regulations, candidates must be at least 18 years old.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Strong skills in prioritization, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and collaboration are essential. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, motivation, and organizational proficiency are required. Candidates must demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior, while being receptive to guidance from higher-level management. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively recruit, hire, coach, train, and motivate team members is crucial. A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting equipment and product cases weighing approximately 10-50 pounds, and must possess clear communication abilities for both telephone and in-person interactions. Proficiency in operating computers, including desktops and tablets, is necessary.
