Job Summary: The Housekeeper performs light cleaning tasks to ensure that establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, are kept clean and orderly. Key duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exemplary customer service through meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and sanitize trash containers.
  • Dispose of waste in a hygienic manner.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces.
  • Change linens and make beds as necessary.
  • Rearrange furniture and amenities according to designated layouts.
  • Address guest inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Respond to housekeeping-related issues, such as spills or broken items.
  • Foster teamwork and maintain a professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
