Job description:

The Member Services Representative plays a vital role in fostering a positive experience for our members by delivering an exceptional level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the club.
  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an outstanding customer service experience.
  • Manage all front desk operations, including but not limited to:
    • Answering phone calls in a courteous manner and addressing a variety of inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system accurately.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members and implementing necessary updates to member accounts.
    • Responding professionally to member questions and concerns in a timely manner, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a health club environment is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills are required.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and health is essential.
  • An upbeat and positive demeanor is crucial.
  • Punctuality and reliability are non-negotiable.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and team members, consistently exceeding member expectations.

  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Physical Demands:
