Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technician with a robust background in the installation and configuration of network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, servers, VOIP systems, camera solutions, and access control systems. The successful candidate will also support Office 365 initiatives and various other business technologies, playing a critical role in delivering seamless, reliable, and secure IT environments for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
– Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as switches and firewalls to ensure optimal security and operational efficiency.
– Implement and manage servers, ensuring proper configuration for peak performance and reliability.
– Install and configure VOIP systems, oversee call routing, manage LOA submissions for porting, and execute other VOIP-related functions.
– Implement and support camera solutions and access control systems to enhance security measures for clients.
– Lead Office 365 deployments and migrations, providing comprehensive support throughout the project lifecycle.
– Diagnose and resolve network performance issues and hardware malfunctions to minimize client downtime.
– Collaborate with team members on larger IT projects, offering technical expertise and assistance.
– Maintain meticulous documentation of installations, configurations, and support activities for accountability and future reference.
– Train clients on the use of business technologies and IT solutions, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications:
– At least 2 years of experience in IT support with an emphasis on network devices and business technology solutions, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) setting.
– In-depth knowledge of network configurations and protocols, coupled with practical experience with switches and firewalls.
– Experience in server setup and configuration, along with familiarity with camera systems and access control technologies.
– Proficient in Office 365 services, including administration and migration strategies.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
– Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in technologies and platforms such as Sophos, Ubiquiti, Verkada, Microsoft Office 365, Barracuda, Datto, ConnectWise, Sangoma, and Veeam.
