Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices, a distinguished leader in the tire and automotive repair service industry, is excited to announce the Grand Opening of a new location in South Euclid, OH. We are currently seeking experienced automotive sales personnel to join our team in multiple roles.
About the Position of Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the repair shop. Responsibilities will include scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, and guaranteeing timely and quality completion of jobs that exceed customer expectations. Additional duties entail overseeing shop safety, maintaining a clean work environment, and effectively communicating safety and mechanical issues to the Store Manager for customer correspondence. Successful candidates should possess a solid understanding of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, as well as basic mathematical and computer skills. Fundamental supervisory and leadership skills are also essential for this role.
About the Position of Service Manager
The Service Manager is tasked with assisting customers in selecting tires and under-car repair services. This sales-oriented position requires prior experience in sales, particularly in product/service up-selling techniques. Knowledge of automotive repairs and the industry will be advantageous. Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with a personable and success-driven approach, are vital for success in this role.
