Job Description
Job Title: Lansing Afternoon/Evening Caregiver
Company: Home Instead Senior Care
Location: Lansing, MI
Pay: $15 – 16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 – $16 for the “Lansing Afternoon/Evening Caregiver” role in Lansing, MI, appears to be slightly below the national average for caregivers, which typically ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and specific job duties. In Michigan, caregiver wages can vary, but the rates often align closely with the national averages, especially in urban areas where demand may be higher. While the offered rate might attract entry-level candidates or those seeking part-time work, it may not be competitive enough for experienced caregivers, potentially impacting staff retention and job applications. Overall, to be more appealing and competitive within the local market, consideration of an increase in hourly wages may be beneficial.
