Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a seasonal Culinary Supervisor to join our team at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team members, ensuring that food preparation and production meet established quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers, ensuring all kitchen equipment functions properly.
  • Oversee the proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food.
  • Execute opening, closing, and side work duties as needed.
  • Actively manage food costs within the parameters set by culinary leadership.
  • Collaborate with team members and restaurant managers to meet guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • No college degree required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a line cook, including supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity sufficient for preparing a variety of foods and liquids.
  • Ability to lift and carry large pans, weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
