Job description:

Home Instead is seeking dedicated and experienced Care Professionals (CNA, HHA, STNA, DCS) to join our Afternoon team in the Ottawa County and Erie County areas. Available hours range from 12 PM to 5 PM, 5 PM to 10 PM, or a combination of these shifts (for example, from noon to six). Home Instead is committed to providing a variety of services that empower older adults to remain in the comfort of their homes while addressing the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion.

Care Professional Responsibilities:

  • Assist older adults in thriving within their homes
  • Foster enduring relationships within the community

  • Aid with personal hygiene care as needed, which may include toileting, dressing, and bathing

Caregiver Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to treat and care for older adults and their property with respect and dignity; patience and reliability are essential
  • Must successfully pass a background check, DMV check, and drug screen
  • Valid driver’s license with appropriate auto insurance is required
  • Candidates must be 21 years of age or older to apply
  • A minimum of six months of senior care experience is preferred
