Job description:
Required open availability on both weekend days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Greet members, prospective members, and guests by delivering exceptional customer service.
– Manage all front desk related activities, which include:
– Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
– Checking IDs and member barcodes into the system.
– Facilitating new member sign-ups.
– Providing tours of the club for prospective members.
– Updating members’ accounts as necessary.
– Addressing member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Assistant Club Manager as needed.
– Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club.
– Monitoring the safety of members and ensuring cleanliness standards are upheld.
– Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
– Restocking locker rooms with appropriate supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (such as toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” by immediately turning in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements:
– Preferred background in customer service.
– Basic computer proficiency.
– A strong passion for fitness and health.
– Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
– Punctuality and reliability are essential.
– Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, consistently exceeding member expectations.

– Demonstrates diplomacy in all interactions while employing appropriate behavior and language.
– High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
– Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands:
– Continuous standing and walking during the shift.
– Regular communication in person with members and handling incoming membership calls.
– Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
– Responsible for diluting and cleaning with chemicals during the shift.
– Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and frequently used surfaces within the club.
– Monitoring the club and assisting members throughout the entirety of the shift.
