Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Part-Time 2nd Shift

Company: Cedarbrook Senior Living

Location: Bloomfield Hills, MI

Pay: $19 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $19 for a “Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Part-Time 2nd Shift” in Bloomfield Hills, MI, is generally considered competitive but on the lower end relative to industry standards. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for CNAs in Michigan typically ranges from $15 to $25, with many employers in suburban areas, like Bloomfield Hills, offering rates closer to $20-$25 due to increased demand and the cost of living. Additionally, factors such as shift differentials, the specific healthcare facility’s reputation, and benefits can also influence compensation. Therefore, while $19 is acceptable, particularly for a part-time role, it may not fully reflect the area’s market demand or the value of the position.

Job description:

  • Prepare residents for examinations and treatments by draping and positioning, and support medical staff by holding instruments and adjusting lights during procedures.

  • Record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, as well as food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
  • Assist with laundry and housekeeping responsibilities.

  • Exhibit dependability and reliability with respect to scheduling, including attendance and punctuality, without restrictions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
