Job Description
Job Title: Police Cadet
Company: Meridian Township
Location: Michigan
Pay: $14 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: As of 2023, an hourly rate of $14 for a Police Cadet in Michigan is generally considered below competitive standards. Police cadets often receive remuneration that reflects the commitment of the role and the training involved; typical wages for similar positions in Michigan can range from $15 to $25 per hour, varying significantly by department, location, and experience level. The lower end of this scale may apply to entry-level positions, but $14 an hour could struggle to attract candidates, particularly given rising living costs and the demands of law enforcement training. Overall, this rate may not effectively align with both industry expectations and the cost of living in many areas of Michigan.
