Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Driver vacation coverage may include occasional night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers in accordance with scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks or by hand, placing them in designated areas within the customer’s storage facilities.
  • Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying contents with customers and securing appropriate signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, and pull weights ranging from 20 to 80+ lbs during each shift.
  • Comfort with driving and working in varying weather conditions, making frequent stops (10+ per shift) as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence, complete with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience required; or three months of experience specifically in food and/or beverage delivery.
  • Preferred ability to operate manual transmission; may be necessary in select locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English is essential, including understanding highway signs, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports and records.
