What you’ll bring to the team:
SEA LIFE Specific Duties:
– Deliver engaging and enjoyable talks and animal interaction sessions.
– Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the aquarium.
– Share your knowledge of marine ecosystems and educate our guests about conservation in an entertaining and positive manner.
– Embrace an enthusiastic, assertive, and passionate approach to Guest Service, consistently demonstrating the Merlin Values.
– Proactively seek guest interactions and exhibit enthusiasm and high energy levels.
– Manage our extended lines safely while ensuring an excellent guest experience.
– Ensure that all public areas are well-stocked and that displays and points of sale are prepared for attraction opening, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the day.
– Adhere to opening and closing procedures as outlined in the department’s operating plan.
– Uphold compliance with Health, Safety & Security standards within the workplace, including adherence to COVID-19 policies, practices, and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Preferred experience of 6 months to 1 year in attractions, entertainment, or customer service roles.
– A fun, dynamic, and approachable personality.
– Strong communication, listening, and motivational skills.
– Ability to work in environments with loud noises and confined spaces.
– Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
– Must exhibit flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
