Job Title: Police Cadet

Company: Meridian Township

Location: Okemos, MI

Pay: $12.25 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $12.25 for a Police Cadet position in Okemos, MI, is generally below the competitive range observed for similar roles in law enforcement and public safety. Most entry-level positions in law enforcement, including police cadets, typically offer higher wages, often starting around $15 to $20 per hour, reflecting the responsibilities and physical demands of the role. Additionally, factors such as local cost of living, living wage standards, and evolving market conditions suggest that this rate may not adequately attract or retain candidates, particularly considering the increasing emphasis on law enforcement training and qualifications. Thus, this pay rate appears to be less than industry standards for this position in the region.
