Job Description
Job Title: Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide
Company: SouthernCare Hospice Services
Location: Whitehouse, OH
Pay: $15 – 17.65 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $17.65 for a “Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant – Hospice Aide” in Whitehouse, OH, is somewhat below the national average for similar roles, which typically ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and specific employer factors. In Ohio, the average wage for a certified nursing assistant (CNA) is generally in line with or slightly above this range, with hospice settings sometimes offering additional compensation due to the specialized nature of the work. While the provided rate may be competitive for entry-level positions or in lower-cost areas, it may not attract experienced aides, especially given the emotional and physical demands of hospice care. Therefore, to enhance competitiveness, the pay could be adjusted to better align with industry standards.
