Job description:
Job Summary
The incumbent will perform material handling duties that include operating equipment for the receiving, disbursement, inventory checks, and essential inventory management functions. This is an overnight position; the scheduled shift is Monday to Friday, from 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Responsibilities:
– Process daily item orders, conduct stock checks, and facilitate customer pickups as necessary.
– Ensure accurate counting, rotation, and daily replenishment of inventory items, adhering strictly to established procedures.
– Organize and stock products on carts or within designated areas while maintaining par levels. Regularly inspect for compromised or expired inventory.
– Receive inbound materials, properly labeling them with identifying information, recording quantities, and sorting materials for storage on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined categories such as size, color, type, or product code. Prepare materials for order assembly.
– Conduct quality control checks, move carts to and from loading docks, and operate material handling equipment as required.
– Provide assistance with customer requests, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
– Perform housekeeping duties, ensuring all onsite areas are kept clean and organized.

Qualifications:
– 1 to 3 months of relevant work experience or training.
– Proficient in reading and communicating in English.
– Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction, along with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
– Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
– High school diploma
– At least one year of experience in a hospital environment
