Position Overview
The Line Worker / Small Machine Operator, reporting directly to the Shift Manager, plays a vital role in weighing raw materials for production and packaging materials into boxes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating forklifts (pending formal training).
  • Inspect finished product pouches for defects or foreign materials before placement in containers.
  • Verify the lot number of raw materials prior to weighing and inclusion on batch tickets.
  • Acquire knowledge of other functions within the Staging and Packaging Areas.
  • Adhere strictly to all work instructions and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Contribute to the general cleanliness and organization of the plant and work areas.
  • Be flexible and available to work on any shift, including weekends and overtime as required.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong math, reading, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Physical Environment

  • The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, and involve lifting, bending, and twisting.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds with assistance.
