Job Title: (Student) Team Assistant – Esports

Company: Davenport University

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $12 – 12.5 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $12 to $12.50 for a “(Student) Team Assistant – Esports” role in Grand Rapids, MI, appears to be on the low end of the spectrum for entry-level positions within the esports industry, especially considering the increasing demand for esports professionals. As of 2023, entry-level esports roles typically range from $15 to $20 per hour in various locations, reflecting the growing investment in esports by schools, universities, and organizations. While the offered rate may be suitable for a student position that accommodates flexible scheduling and reduced responsibilities, it may not attract candidates who might expect higher compensation based on the rising standards within the industry and the cost of living in Michigan. Overall, the pay could be seen as less competitive compared to industry norms for similar positions.
