Job Title: Private Duty Caregiver

Company: Homestead

Location: Livonia, MI

Pay: $17 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, the hourly rate of $17 for a “Private Duty Caregiver” in Livonia, MI appears to be below the average for the region, which typically ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, client needs, and the specific responsibilities of the role. While this rate may be competitive for entry-level positions or those requiring minimal experience, it may not be sufficient to attract more skilled caregivers or to meet the demand for quality private duty services. With the ongoing rising cost of living and the growing demand for caregivers, especially in metropolitan areas, employers offering rates closer to the higher end of the scale may find greater success in hiring and retaining qualified staff.
