Production Operator I
Location: Bellevue, Ohio
Schedule: 12-hour nights (2-2-3)

Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, you will perform entry-level production tasks under supervision, including but not limited to:

  • Preparing raw materials and packaging by accurately identifying and preparing the necessary quantities, transporting them to designated production areas, and noting any deviations from standard procedures.
  • Operating processing equipment in accordance with established process instructions and procedures.
  • Monitoring equipment to ensure processes operate at the desired run rates.
  • Conducting initial testing and releasing products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Verifying labels and packaging materials to ensure correct labeling in line with established protocols.
  • Packaging final products in accordance with instructions and H.B. Fuller’s quality standards.
  • Performing all operations in compliance with H.B. Fuller’s expected quality standards and operating procedures, while adhering to all legal and company EHS regulations.
  • Maintaining housekeeping in the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Undertaking any additional duties as requested by the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A basic educational degree, high school diploma, or general education diploma.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Familiarity with common software applications (MS Office preferred).
  • Ability to read and comprehend work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures/instructions.
  • Availability for shift work.

Preferred Requirements:

  • One year of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Basic proficiency in English.

Physical Environment:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Capability to walk and climb stairs.
  • Use of hands for lifting or removing boxes.
  • Ability to stretch and reach with extended arms, stoop, and bend.
  • Regularly lift items up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Work is conducted in a typical chemical environment, with exposure to temperature, dust, odors, and noise.

Compensation for this role is $20 per hour. Pay is structured based on various factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
