We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at two of our premier apartment communities located in Delaware, OH. This full-time position entails a commitment of 40 hours per week.

OVERVIEW:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of the apartment community. Key responsibilities include providing outstanding service to residents, efficiently completing service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and conducting unit inspections and rehabilitation as scheduled by the Community Director.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Execute service requests, preventative maintenance, and unit rehabilitation tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Director.
  • Conduct required property and unit inspections, ensuring timely completion of any necessary follow-up work.
  • Deliver high-quality and professional service to all residents.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all equipment, vehicle, and shop areas.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Experience in maintenance, construction, skilled trades, home repair, or as a maintenance technician is preferred; however, we are willing to train and mentor the right candidate for a rewarding career in property management.
  • Physical ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift up to 75 lbs., kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and work under various weather conditions.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

WORK SCHEDULE:
