Job description:

Provides exemplary customer service daily, consistently exceeding customer expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures. Responsible for loading orders into delivery vehicles and ensuring that deliveries are accurate and effectively routed. Completes return forms and manages invoices, transfers, and all related paperwork with precision. Assumes additional warehouse duties as required when deliveries are not pending.

Commitment to safety is paramount; employees must observe all safety regulations at all times and follow vehicle safety procedures diligently. Timely communication of pertinent information to management is essential. Interacts with customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing inquiries directly or referring them to a manager when necessary, and delivers customer orders promptly and efficiently.

Assigned deliveries must be adhered to, with manager contact made as required from customer locations. Processes cash invoices accurately, following established cash handling protocols, and records all relevant information on invoices. Conducts daily vehicle checks and performs routine maintenance as necessary. Additionally, cleans and maintains vehicles on a daily basis, as well as overseeing facility maintenance tasks including housekeeping duties.

Demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity in interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues at all times. Follows oral and written instructions accurately and works collaboratively as part of a team, particularly under time constraints. Shows strong attention to detail to ensure quality work. Adheres to company policies and procedures while meeting attendance and punctuality expectations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years of driving experience is preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Competence in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing across various units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Capable of addressing issues involving a limited number of concrete variables in standardized situations.
