Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, manage, and hold direct reports accountable through regular communication and meetings.
  • Provide staff with the necessary tools, support, and clarity of goals to ensure their success.
  • Promote team cohesion across multiple locations and corporate divisions.
  • Conduct quarterly performance meetings with individual staff members and document outcomes.
  • Address performance challenges with a transparent disciplinary process and Performance Improvement Plans.

Administrative & Operations:

  • Maintain adequate staffing levels through effective hiring and training practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish budgets, monitor performance metrics, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Present clinic metrics, updates, and company objectives during weekly team meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and insurance requirements.
  • Create staff schedules that enhance patient access and optimize clinic operations.
  • Address customer service inquiries and concerns from staff, patients, and referral sources.
  • Train team members on best practices, safety protocols, and essential processes.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and equipment needs to ensure compliance and cleanliness.

Patient & Community Engagement:

  • Serve as a role model for exemplary patient care, focusing on achieving functional goals.
  • Engage with the local community to promote clinic services and establish relationships with referral sources.
  • Attend meetings and events to enhance the clinic’s visibility and connections.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitor and enforce clinic policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Michigan State License in Physical Therapy.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with rehabilitation supervisory or management experience.
  • Capability to stand, kneel, squat, bend, grasp, and reach as necessary for patient evaluation and treatment.
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation systems.
