SUMMARY
The Repair Technician is responsible for conducting basic inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical services for automobiles and light trucks. This role ensures exceptional customer service while adhering to safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools. The technician will also manage inventory and requisition supplies, as well as contribute to overall facility maintenance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Utilize tire balancing and mounting equipment to service tires, including repairing flats, performing rotations, and executing diagnostic tests to assess tire wear and vibration.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of tire lines for inventory management, procedural compliance, and logistics associated with stock inquiries, shipping, and receiving.
• Perform lube, oil, and filter (LOF) changes and visual inspections, including under-hood, under-car, and wheel-off assessments.
• Execute basic remove-and-replace tasks such as battery and filter installations, as well as headlamp and bulb replacements.
• Conduct alignments and flushes of cooling systems, power steering, and transmission using relevant equipment.
• Carry out basic diagnostics to identify noise or vibration issues following road tests.
• Assist with facility upkeep by adhering to proper opening and closing protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and performing general maintenance duties.

EQUIPMENT/TOOLS
Safely and effectively operate various tools and equipment, including tire machines, balancers, lube equipment, lifts, impact guns, torque wrenches, and machines necessary for performing Tire & Alignment Technician responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
