Responsibilities of the Custodian Team Lead:

  • Conduct regular walk-through inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide monitoring and coaching to team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Cover cleaning routes as needed, which include but are not limited to:
    • Cleaning and restocking restrooms
    • Emptying trash receptacles
    • Dusting office equipment
    • Wiping down hard surfaces
    • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
    • Cleaning interior windows and doors

Requirements of the Custodial Team Lead:

  • Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing role are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated attitude.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, along with the physical capability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift items up to 25 pounds.
  • Proficiency in using motorized cleaning equipment such as vacuums and hand-operated floor cleaners.
  • Capability to read and comprehend safety instructions and operational materials.
  • Must successfully pass a background and fingerprint check, with a completely clear background as this position requires clearance into a police building.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Shift Time: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM (no flexibility in start or end times)
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Starting Pay Rate: $16.75 to $19.00 per hour, commensurate with previous experience.
