Meet The Team:
The Simulation Environments team specializes in the development and integration of simulation tools that cater to enterprise needs. We create robust, resilient, and scalable cloud simulation solutions utilizing managed cloud services to fulfill the requirements of our internal stakeholders. As part of this team, you will be involved in designing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring cloud services that facilitate diverse use cases in the domain of virtual driver stack simulation.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage in team management tasks, including resource allocation, workload prioritization, backlog maintenance, cross-functional collaboration, talent selection, team onboarding, career development, and performance evaluations.
- Facilitate backlog adjustments in response to product changes to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and prioritize feature enhancements based on user feedback.
- Lead the team through the process of feature decomposition and work estimation.
- Monitor and communicate the team’s progress towards project completion to all relevant stakeholders.
- Uphold software development best practices, enhancing the quality, efficiency, and accuracy of the team’s output.
- Partner with teams focused on perception, planning, control, mapping, and vehicle testing to develop solutions that aid their development efforts on AWS.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Proven experience managing a team aligned with existing systems and defined strategies. Leadership in tackling complex technical challenges through a team of engineers while ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance standards are met.
- Ability to respond to team needs and foster effective collaboration to uphold established standards, compliance, and delivery timelines.
- Demonstrated functional knowledge of the business domain, highlighting ongoing learning and professional growth. Capability to manage personnel effectively and nurture opportunities for staff development.
- Experience at the helm of engineering teams focused on delivering large-scale web applications that support a distributed, cross-functional development environment.
- Strong facilitation, technical coaching, systems thinking, and servant leadership abilities.
- Deep commitment to test-driven development practices, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS or other public cloud services.
