Job description:
Provides exceptional customer service consistently to exceed customer expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures. Responsible for loading orders into delivery vehicles and ensuring delivery accuracy, optimizing routes accordingly. Completes necessary paperwork, including return forms, invoices, and transfers, with precision. Engages in various warehouse duties when delivery tasks are not pending and strictly complies with safety regulations at all times, including vehicle safety procedures.
Communicates relevant information to management promptly and addresses customer inquiries in a polite and courteous manner, escalating issues when additional input is required. Delivers customer orders efficiently and promptly, exclusively undertaking assigned deliveries. Maintains communication with management during deliveries as necessary, ensures accurate initialing of cash invoices in accordance with cash-handling procedures, and meticulously records relevant information on all invoices. Conducts daily vehicle checks and performs routine maintenance as needed, promptly notifying management of any non-routine maintenance requirements.
Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and participates in facility maintenance, including housekeeping and general upkeep responsibilities. Demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity in interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
