Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare menu items for service within our Westover, Berkeley Square, or Jamestowne dining locations.
• Efficiently prepare and deliver food trays using rolling carts, ensuring timely service. This includes tasks such as pouring hot and cold beverages, arranging plates and condiments, taking food temperatures, and managing the collection and cleaning of used trays.
• Engage warmly with residents and guests, fostering a positive dining atmosphere.
• Adhere to recipes, special dietary needs, and portion controls as defined by dining leadership.
• Ensure that all food items are labeled, dated, and compliant with State Health Code regulations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by regularly cleaning appliances, dishwashers, trash containers, carts, trays, and kitchen surfaces.
• Restock kitchen supplies (e.g., cups, plates) as necessary.
• Support the serving or delivery of food items for special events across our various locations.
• Manage the disposal and recycling of packaging materials appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
