Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with Registered Nurses to assess patients
  • Administering medications and monitoring patients for adverse reactions
  • Conducting routine lab tests and providing therapeutic services
  • Educating patients and their families about treatment plans, self-care after discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care
  • Identifying safety hazards and emergency situations to ensure resident safety and taking appropriate corrective actions

Qualifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse licensure prior to hire or transfer
  • High school diploma or GED
