REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing, Communications, and Student Recruitment or Designee
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-Time, 257 days, 40 Hours Per Week, FLSA Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in student recruitment, including familiarity with student application systems and/or CRM software.
  • At least one year of event planning experience, preferably within the education sector.
  • Proficiency in utilizing social media for marketing purposes.
  • Experience with cameras and video equipment is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and technological capabilities.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
  • Possession of a valid Ohio Driver’s License.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Warren County Career Center seeks a dynamic and versatile Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator to become a vital member of our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the recruitment of both high school and adult education students, as well as the management of the application process for prospective WCCC students. Your contributions will be essential in promoting the outstanding initiatives at WCCC through photography, videography, website development, and facilitating our presence at key community events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment and outreach events and programs, including festivals, parades, and other significant activities throughout Warren County.
  • Foster and maintain alumni relations.
  • Update and manage website content as required.
  • Support social media marketing initiatives.
  • Create graphic content and publications for promotional purposes.
  • Organize and execute recruitment events such as Sophomore Explore and Open House.
  • Oversee the application process and ensure effective management of the application system.
  • Facilitate discussions to assist students in identifying the best educational pathways for their needs.

OTHER DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as a role model in civic conduct, treating all individuals with respect and integrity at all times.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor consistently.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to acquiring knowledge and skills to tackle new challenges.
  • Uphold a satisfactory attendance record and demonstrate punctuality.
  • Stay informed about the technology utilized within the district.
  • Exhibit punctuality and thoroughness in the execution of assigned responsibilities.
  • Take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of staff and students.
  • Maintain confidentiality concerning staff and student information and records.
  • Stay informed about new and emerging social media platforms and communication tools.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent, his/her designee, or the employee’s direct supervisor or his/her designee.

KNOWLEDGE OF: Event planning and implementation, board policies and procedures, building policies and procedures, student code of conduct, and emergency preparedness procedures.

ABILITY TO: Represent the Warren County Career Center effectively, communicating with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong relations within the district and the broader community.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Workdays are defined as per the calendar, with compensation following the salary schedule established by the Board of Education.
