Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Club Servers to join our esteemed team at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. As a Server, you will represent our restaurant’s core values and provide exceptional service to our guests. Key Responsibilities:
– Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus, communicate restaurant specials, answer menu inquiries, and collect food and beverage orders.
– Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
– Accurately input orders into the point-of-sale system, process payments, and prepare and deliver checks to guests.
– Collaborate effectively with other restaurant servers, as well as kitchen and bar staff.
– Execute opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties as assigned, ensuring that all workspaces and equipment are clean, sanitized, organized, and functional.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Must be at least 21 years of age.
– Experience with cash handling and credit card processing.
– A minimum of one year of experience as a server in a high-volume setting and familiarity with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality context is preferred.
– A high school diploma or GED is not required.
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift 35 lbs and maintain standing, walking, and bending for extended periods, including navigating stairs.
– Visual acuity and hearing sufficient for taking orders and preparing checks.
