Reports to: General Manager

Special Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/AED Certification within the time frames set by the company and possess the physical ability to perform CPR/AED in the event of a medical emergency.
  • Must obtain Tanning Certification within the required time frame established by the company.

Summary Description
The Member Services Representative is responsible for delivering an exceptional member experience by providing top-notch customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring exceptional service at all times.
  • Handle various front desk operations which include:
    • Answering phones courteously and assisting callers with a wide range of inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system efficiently.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating member accounts as necessary.
    • Responding promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
    • Performing cleaning duties as required to uphold the cleanliness of the club.
    • Maintaining the ability to perform CPR/AED as required by the company in the event of a medical emergency.
    • Obtaining Tanning Certification within the company’s designated timeline.
