The compensation for this position is set at $25.55 per hour, with a range between $25.55 and $28.55, depending on relevant experience and qualifications. Schedule:

  • Approximately 85% of driver routes allow for daily returns home.
  • Standard schedule is typically 4 days, 12 hours each.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Vacation coverage for drivers may include some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate trucks safely to deliver products to customers within scheduled timeframes.
  • Efficiently unload products using equipment such as a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing items in designated storage areas.
  • Ensure the accuracy of deliveries by verifying with customers and obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Process collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing between 20 to 80+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable operating vehicles and working in adverse weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration in the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery sector.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred and may be necessary in certain locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English is essential, including understanding traffic signs and signals, responding to inquiries, and completing reports.
